Our inaugural meeting for Inclusion, Pupil Premium and SEND Governors will be held on Thursday, 28th November at The Wren School, starting at 7pm and finishing by 8:30pm. Led by Alice Boon from BFfC, this session will concentrate on the Pupil Premium. Â Topics to be covered are listed below, but time will also be reserved for attendees to raise their own issues for discussion and advice.
PP UPDATES Â Alice will share the latest updates to Pupil Premium guidance, and answer your specific questions.
PP BEST PRACTICE IN READING SCHOOLSÂ Â Alice will pick some local schools who either produce exemplary PP Statements and/or achieve great outcomes for their PP cohort. Â What elements can we incorporate into our practice?
FEEDBACK ON THE THERAPEUTIC BEHAVIOUR APPROACHÂ What impact have governors seen so far? Â Do you understand the therapeutic approach? Â What is the governors’ role?

Places can be booked below. Attendance is free for member schools, and £30 per school to all non-members. Please note that attendance at these events counts as Governor Training/Professional Development and should be added to your school’s training records. We look forward to seeing you there!
