Bringing Reading Schools Closer Together

Do you have a Wellbeing Governor?

It’s hard to imagine a time when mental health and wellbeing has been more important in schools.

Today, Governors for Schools is launching Wellbeing Governors – a year-long campaign to highlight why link governors for wellbeing are vital on school boards.

They want to help governors feel confident when talking about mental health and wellbeing. Whether you already have a link governor on your board, or you’d like to appoint one, they will provide resources to make sure mental health and wellbeing stays on the agenda.

Working with Place2Be, the children’s mental health charity, over the next few months they will share blogs on key topics around mental health and wellbeing, questions for link governors to ask at board meetings, and best practice.

Visit their website to discover the resources available, including a webinar on pupil wellbeing later this month.
