Nominations for NGA’s board of trustees*

This autumn NGA is seeking nominations for its board of trustees in the South East region. If your school or trust is a NGA member, or you have an individual membership, then you are eligible for election.

Before deciding to stand for election you should read and take note of the following documents: NGA trustee role description; NGA trustees’ skills audit questionnaire; NGA code of conduct for members of the board; NGA trustee declaration of interest form and NGA declaration of eligibility for trustee form. All documents are located on NGA’s website: Board elections. If you decide to stand for election, please complete and submit the nomination forms.

The NGA is holding a virtual information session for prospective candidates at 17:00 on Monday 28 September 2020 where you can meet the current Chair of the Board Maggi Bull, and some fellow NGA trustees. If you are interested, please contact their clerk emma.myers@nga.org.uk.

Nominations for election should be submitted no later than 17:00 on Friday 9 October 2020. The election will take place between Tuesday 13 October and Thursday 26 November 2020 with the results announced at the NGA Annual General Meeting on Saturday 28 November 2020 when the appointment to the board of trustees will begin.
