In these challenging times, governors may be feeling somewhat removed from how Reading schools and governors are operating. Your RGA is responding to these extra pressures by facilitating remote meetings which will enable you to communicate with local leaders in education regularly, and which complement, but not duplicate, training offered by Brighter Futures for Children.
The full annual schedule is being finalised, and will be available by September. But in the meantime, in response to the urgent reaction needed to upcoming challenges, the first Chairs, Vice-Chairs and Clerks network meeting has been set for Wednesday 9th September at 6:30.
Also, as members of RGA, you are all invited to our postponed AGM on Thursday 24th September at 6:30. In addition to the presentation of the Chair’s and Treasurer’s reports, we will be proposing a new fee structure for 2020/21 and inviting members to join the board.
