This meeting for Finance Governors of Maintained Schools will largely repeat the topics covered in the March session, as many members expressed an interest in attending but were unable to do so. We are very happy to address your suggested additional topics if time, but will again focus on:
- The Governing Board’s role in School Finance
- The role of the Finance Governor
- Important relationships
- Current key issues
- Suggested challenges for school leaders
Places can be booked below. Attendance is free for member schools, and £50 per school to all non-members (this becomes your annual membership fee, and all subsequent attendance will then be free). Please note that attendance at these events counts as Governor Training/Professional Development and should be added to your school’s training records.
This event will take place remotely via MS Teams. Joining instructions and meeting protocols will be circulated with your booking confirmation.
