Our upcoming meeting for Safeguarding Governors, Health & Safety Governors and Wellbeing Governors will be held on Wednesday, 21st April, starting at 6:30pm and finishing by 8:00pm. Topics to be covered are listed below, but time will also be reserved for attendees to raise their own issues for discussion and advice.
We are focussing on three main areas:
- the annual LA Safeguarding Audit, where we hope to be joined by Gill Dunlop, Pupil and School Support Service Manager at BFfC
- the governors’ role in monitoring and supporting wellbeing and good mental health in your schools
- any recent COVID-19/risk assessment issues which are causing concern to governors.

Places can be booked below. Attendance is free for member schools, and £50 per school to all non-members (this becomes your annual membership fee, and all subsequent attendance will then be free).  Please note that attendance at these events counts as Governor Training/Professional Development and should be added to your school’s training records.
This event will take place remotely via MS Teams. Â Joining instructions and meeting protocols will be circulated with your booking confirmation.
