The new administration of RBC was approved on 26th May and our new Lead Councillor for Education & Public Health is Ruth McEwan, of Church Ward.
Ruth has been confirmed to speak at our forthcoming Summer Conference on Saturday 9th July, the theme of which will be the implications of the Education White Paper for Reading schools, particularly the continuing drive towards academisation.
Brian Grady, our new Director of Education at Brighter Futures for Children, is also a confirmed speaker, hopefully to be joined by a representative from the NGA, and a Reading HT.
