This term’s Spring Conference on 25th February is based upon the quality of learning.

As part of the core governor responsibility of holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, this conference will be looking at the following topics:

  • How does learning happen? Understanding how learning happens allows schools to use resources wisely
  • Catch up for pupils. The government has appointed a new “Education Recovery Tsar”
  • What are we taking away in terms of electronic communication/remote learning with students?
  • What are opportunities for a new world in education?
  • How do we plan for next 6 months?
  • How do we all recover from Covid?

Places can be booked below. Attendance is free for member schools, and £50 per school to all non-members (this becomes your annual membership fee, and all subsequent attendance will then be free).  Please note that attendance at these events counts as Governor Training/Professional Development and should be added to your school’s training records.

This event will take place remotely via MS Teams.  Joining instructions and meeting protocols will be circulated with your booking confirmation.
